...it's a car I've wanted to own since I was younger.

My Ford sedan was already asking me to throw him the towel, and despite all the love I had for it, it was time to move on.

I am not the kind of guy who needs expensive or premium cars. I like classics and vintage, or at least cars that have some kind of history. The Lancer was one of them. It's no superstar or Italian primadonna, but it holds its ground all right, it's a 70's classic, and does the job well, having more horse-power than a Corolla or a Civic even in its more civil versions, and has a Stock Car/Nascar/Rally record.

It followed me home:

I had a Galant---- I tried to kill that car--- drove it at stupid high speed mercilessly--- it never wavered--- was comfortable -- affordable-- durable--
congrats man good looking/running ride ;)

Some of those Mitsubishis are not to be underestimated; they are very tasty - the Evos are crazy expensive to insure in the UK.

Congrats on the new wheels!!!
One of the worst decisions I allowed my wife to make was trading our MR Lancer on a new Outlander. I was for buying the Outlander outright and keeping the MR as a second car.
I loved my little MR coupe, so sad, she's gone.

I had a 1989 Chrysler Conquest, which was actually a Mitsubishi Starion. Had a turbo 4G32 4 cylinder engine, 35 & 40 series tires stock and steering wheel adjustable radio frequencies and bass/treble/mid/fader/reverb...way ahead of it's time!!!!
