Ok, I’m excited.

Ok...

No real changes for us here at the studio. We have a full project roster and nothing has been pulled off the table...only change is no front counter/office staff.

Hey Gahr, your thread has taken a turn and that's even without eESGe turning up!

Anyways, as your glorious '65 standard is coming together, I thought you'd like a shot of your next guitar (probably after the Covid-19 although how many kidneys do you currently own?):

What a nice fit for your collection, fills a gap and would look magnifthreecant between your Junior and Standard... No need to thank me. :D

(on a side note, to this side note, on a page of side notes... I wouldn't buy from these Japanese scalpers, there seems to be endless of 'em just finding one guitar in Japan somewhere then advertising it all over ebay; very annoying.)
Oh, I’ve spent at least one whole month looking at Specials on ebay this the last year. I came close to buying one a few months ago, but bougth the 1063 EB0 instead. Now I’ll have to wait. The value of the Norwegian currency has dropped like a lead balloon over the last few weeks, so I’m not buying ANYTHING from abroad for a good while.

A very nice thing happened today, though. My wife suddenly decided buying new speakers for the stereo was a good idea yesterday. I’ve been wanting to upgrade my the pair of Dali Suite 1.5 I have (bought around 1999/2000 sometime) to a more efficient pair, but haven’t wanted to spend money on it. But the wife figured we should get a smaller pair to save some space. I found a pair of Klipsch RP-160M speakers at half price in a Norwegian computer webstore, a demo pair, and she decided she would pay for them. I bought them yesterdau, and they were delivered to my door today. They sound very nice; a much more defined sound than the Dalis in my setup. They are a lot more efficient than the old speakers, so they suit my NAD c316bee amp a lot better than the Dalis.
So, regardless of the corona s**t, right now I’m a happy camper.

I bet those speakers will be nice! A great sounding stereo set up, a beer, relax and listen to music is very pleasant.

The British government were pretty impressive today with a host of social support measures for companies and individuals - looks like the government will pat 80% of the salary of people who get Covid-19, so they can keep their jobs. Lots of other individual and business support (such as delayed and reduced company taxation); nice to see them bail the people out now instead of the banks out later - seems like they've got it the right way around for once.

Specials are one of the sexiest guitars... :dood:

I have been temporarily laid off from work because of the corona virus restrictions imposed by the government here in Norway. All bars, kindergartens and schools were closed yesterday. This means the brewery has lost 80 % of its income, and thus most of the workforce has been laid off for at least 14 days.

Hear that everyone? Start drinking more beer.... quickly.
Save this brewery.
