Odd sounding amp

They are EL84s lamentably. I have a bias probe for 34s but again, it seems unlikely to be the problem. That farty belch it lets out.
When i got my Marshall 6101 EL34 it aounded a bit anemic. One side was 12 mV! Yes, 12. Still worked, didnt stinker out like that. Plus that LED circuitry is supposed to work very well for weeding out bias amd or tube issues.
When the bias is set too cold, it will make that sound....
I'll have a look at the schematic but 601 483 5365 is the number for the techs.
They will usually send you schematics.

It sounded ok at dudes but seemed quiet when plug pilled outts return jack. Didnt stinker like that. I can also just adjust bias screw while listening amd see if it changes anything. Slowly, mind...

I just turned bias screw. One way it sounded thinner (colder) the other way it ballsed up but still had that stinker. Tried fx loop, different cable and guitar. Its going to the shop tomorrow.
Thanks lads!

Well, you did say you got this to stinker around with it..... :hide:
sorry.

Hope you get it sorted without much headache or $$.

I plugged in my 5e3 earlier in the week and it is not behaving.......
Gear trouble - we are not alone.
We have never been - alone.
(I dig that Ancient Aliens show)

Yep its SS Jethro.
The new Orange Crush 35RT combo is an extremely affordable-but-versatile Crush Series amp that does away with digital multieffects in favor of a simpler control layout with classic performance features, like two-channel operation.
