Aka........ to Bigsby or not to Bigsby......Lyre? style....cut a hole in it and slap a FLOYD on it?

Look I am a busy MoFo --- I gotta cram lots o crap into a thread --- so here it is

Epiphone "Custom SHop" Wilshire Pro in Ebony (dont see many Ebony ones)

Excellent build quality the pups sound great --- I like an odd balance of single coil bridge full bucker neck --- fat and twangy--
The knobs look like something off a 50's era radio --- the set up is flawless it plays like butter with a wide neck and looks like it just fell out of 1963---

Keeper ??? ---perhaps---

Thanks Goo---it is a solid well made beast.

I think the EPi custom shop stuff is very nice.....the 08 Les Paul Silverburst is a Custom Shop item as well. DOnt know if they really HAVE a custom shop or if they just stamp that on the ones they make on Tuesdays....but it is a noticeable "solidity" and all to them

I had this style on one of these Crestwoods........TBTH --I didnt care for it too much

LOVED the Crestwood......doubled my money on it ---but if I had kept it they are going for TRIPLE the $$$ now

Has to be a B5 on this one, with the short tail Vibramate mount.

This one has the standard B5 vibramate. The short tail will look much less bulky.
The one for a big guard SG.

Doesn't look like enough room for a Lyreish thingie.

Beautiful new acquisition.

I find this thread confusing. I had to read down and ponder to realize the it is eSGe ' s NGD. Now that I figured that out, I have a question brpefore I answer, which I think should be asked more often: Are you any good with a Bigsby trem?

A trem in my hands always sounds like an animal suffering. Can you make it sound like music?
