SWEET HOLY MOSES that is DEAD sexy---

Love them ZEROS --- restored my faith in the Gibsons -- you where there---- I wanted to make fun of it--- I wanted it to suck --- I picked it up played it and couldnt put it down ......now the gas....it grows.....

Trifecta of new gear in the SWAMPS ---- pre hurricane anxiety shopping!!! LOL

I didn't think I'd like the access to the last couple frets but it's not an issue at all. I remember when you found one at GC, that was the day we both decided we wanted one.

ZACTLY---- you know last time I was at GC it was still there-- same one.....same color......still plays awesome

Wow thats really nice Owegi. Hows the wrap around for quality ? as good as the old original Leo Quan Badass .

Gorgeous bird! Now I want one. Perfect color too.
I think I recognize that piece of plywood below it.
Trifecta in the swamps is right. :nice_guitar:

I've never owned an original Leo Quan Badass bridge, but it appears to be the same bridge as on The Slime ( gibson m2 ) I have which works fine.

Didn't get a chance to play the zero much before the hurricane, but I finally got to plug it in today. I feel like I'm listening to my old classic bands/albums while playing it. To me, Gibson has captured the sound/vibe of the late 60's and early 70's vibe/tone. I've read a lot of bad reviews about these guitars, but, well, all I can say is I must have got a good one like I did with The Slime I guess. Even if you have to replace the bridges on these, which I don't have to on either (at least not out of necessity), there are people who spend a grand or more on a guitar and still change out the bridge, the pickups, the tuners, etc, so big whip, know what I mean ;)

I like it! I noodled around with one at my local pusher and thought it was pretty great. Nice score.

It's very light. I though it'd neck dive using a strap, but mine pretty much hangs right were you'd want it. It won't stress your back out hang'n around the neck that's for sure.

I saw and heard some guy at GC playing one of these through a Bassbreaker amp. He was getting some sweet sounding blues licks with this guitar. It was the same color as well.

Please forgive my ignorance but, is this a Melody Maker Firebird?

That actually a good description if you ask me. Both the Zero and The Slime (my Gibson M2) come across as melody maker offshoots to me. They're just cheap (low cost), no frills, USA Gibsons. I'm hoping to pickup a green or orange fusion next.
