Curious why the strings are not centered on the saddles...although i see this quite often on vintage Gibson's....Thoughts???
They don't seem to be notched. No idea really...
I don't think they ever notched nylon saddles, and really the metal ones weren't notched so much as struck with a rubber mallet. As for the spacing, they didn't no CNC machines back then to keep everything on track to they had to compensate for the handmade nature of the guitars in final assembly and setup.
How does she sound plugged in?
Notching has always been my SOP on nylon or metal saddles...
Only thing I may worry about is what happens during string bending...
Specify what you are worried about...
The saddles are supposed to be notched.That the strings may slide on the saddles when I try to bend.
