Dipping a toe into the murky waters of late '80's cheese-metal I see. Haha. Bold of you to take on the spandex and hairspray.

Anyway, this is no good Robert: Your tone is 10x better than CC laid down on the original track! Back to the drawing board son, you need to scoop the poop out of that, knock 100% of the low end out and add some unnecessary processing, starting with chorus (needed for all '80's chick metal) and a touch of plate reverb.

Maybe take a stab at 'Look what the cat dragged in' next. I'm not gonna lie, we would sometimes close our set with it and it always killed with the drunk chicks in the crowd (at least in the mid-'90's)
