Thanks man! It's a looker and a boat anchor. I want a Tele but had a bad itch for a black lester. I really wanted to upgrade, so the Agile was it. I didn't mean to hijack your thread. I really dig those bullet Teles for $129. I still may get one if I don't get the black Douglas Tele with P90s.

OHHH the Douglas with P90's --- makes NICE noises..... this thing maskes TELECASTER noises.....if you WANT tele tunes--- get a Tele...lol

not a hijack man LOVE the AGILE --- welcome to post all ya want--- but she deserves her own thread man --- with MORE pics --- your making Goo Drool

I think many cheaper lines of guitars make the perfect starting point for modding. It takes tenacity and a little patience at times. The Bullet line now includes double humbuckers, and there's a mustang one.

My HSS Squier Bullet:

Dragonfire pickguard (I cheated), Super Distortion Humbucker, Mexican saddles (bent steel), Fender locking tuners, American string trees, swirchcraft jack, and an american back cover. I recently rewired it to eliminate coil tapping. I added a jumper to give the bridge PU tone control.

I recently decided I may redo it as an HH, adding a Super D 2 (for a popular 80s combo) to the neck pisition. I'll use Dimarzio custom taper pots, a CTL switch, and some orange drops (in my parts drawer). There's a guitar show in July in Oaks PA. I'll find a good pickguard then. You might think I'm nuts to spend the effort on such a cheap guitar. One, I enjoy doing it. Two, I'm doing it so I like playing it a little more, and Three, the damn thing plays very well (action, intonation, etc...).
Bad pic, sorry...

Didn't we agree somewhere that if it wasn't a licensed product that imitators are called single cutaways? Only an Epiphone or Gibson can be a "Les Paul."

I agreed to no such Parlay.
Of course you could call them LESS Pauls ---because they cost HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS less.

To this day my all time favorite cheap tele is the Squier Affinity Tele Special made in china. But, those new bullet tele's look a little better than the past bullets (works for me).
