NTD

I am not sold on the battery stuff yet but they do seem to be getting better.
My neighbor and I were just discussing his Lowe's / Kobalt line trimmer that has worked well for him 2 years so far and the battery has a 5 year warr.
dont recall if it is full replacement or pro rated.

I'm old and prefer burning dinosaur bones.
And I like that song Rusty Cage, too.

"Too cold to start a fire
I'm burning diesel burning dinosaur bones
Yeah I'll take the river down to still water and ride a pack of dogs
But I'm gonna break I'm gonna break my
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run"

I'm with ya there....but, after I got my 18v Makita cordless drill, I was a believer. Speed charge 15 minutes. A great great tool.

All of my other equipment is professional, and gas. Exmark 48" mower, Echo blower and trimmer etc

But really, for the trimmer it came down to $99 on sale. It also received great reviews, has no cord to cut and no carburetor to foul. Just a simple, cheap tool for an infrequent job. So, how long will it last?? We shall find out.
