Yeah, we were done by the time I was 28. We figured have them while we were young enough to enjoy them. Then send them out, up the chimneys and relax in our 40s...

That was working out for us till my youngest graduated HS. In the fall the place I was working closed its doors. So our initial empty nest years was spent job searching. Moving from western Illinois to NE Illinois for a job. House hunting and ultimately building one. That was a three year process. We survived.

All three of ours seemed to spend more time at home after they'd supposed to have left than they did when they were living here. Go figure.
