I don't know how you all feel about multi effects (except for @eSGEe ;)) but I went and reserved a 2nd hand ZOOM B1X FOUR bass pedal unit from my LGS.
I was originally holding out for a cheap ZOOM MS-60B Multi-Stomp, but it was a long shot.
So when this one turned up for £59 I decided to go for it.
Almost the same sims onboard as the 60B, but a bit more versatile, with an expression pedal built in, and a basic drum machine and looper.
I'll post soon when I have had the chance to pick it up and try it out.
Hopefully it will be a good match for the Rumble 25 I just bought (out front or in the loop).

in short --- BASS GO BOOM (all other nonsense need not apply) BOOM
BOOM....BOOM.......BOOM (on the one) BOOM ...........BOOM

Honestly, that looks kinda neat and way better quality than what most of my friends had in the early 2000’s. Back then everyone and their mother had the digitech multi effects unit.

KILLIT WITH FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am deeply sorry for your suffering and difficulties. Perhaps a Govt. program exists to help fund you and for your family for enduring such horrible atrocities?

oh I agree, meanwhile, I had this...zoom fire 15
Ha Ha. But I shouldn't laugh. I had the Peavey equivalent back in the early 2000's.
Owning a Peavey Transfex 208s was my only blip on an otherwise straight run of Marshall guitar amps.

I think what sold it for me at the time was the button labelled 'THRASH'!
Luckily it soon died an un-repairable death, so I went out and bought a DSL401.

But I have usually had good results with multi-effect floor units.
I'm only a bedroom hero so it doesn't have to be perfect.

Never tried the Tone Works range. Korg seem to have reigned in their guitar effects range nowadays. Effects | KORG (U.K.)
I already have a Boss GT-100 for my DSL40CR rig, and a ZOOM MS-70CDR nestled on my pedalboard (i.e. all my TBEs and noise gates).
I just wanted to get a bass multi effect as a starter for my modest practice rig.
