No issues with the amp , it’s later model . I would buy another one . My next amp is going to be DIY Supro type PP

No , I don’t think. Just EL84’s so now octal tube swaps.

I sure like mine, its not fancy, but dependable....
I got it along with the DSL 20 h and sent the DSL back, nothing but issues...but I sure liked the sound from the DSL..
I want another DSL20 but not sure they fixed them...

I like the new 40 cr tones but my big question would be does it have that thump ? I am guessing it doesn’t. The other thing is I like 6L6 amps . The only EL34 I want would be the JCM 800 but I will build one in the distant future.

I think the DSL40 paired with a good cab does have some thump to it, maybe not as much as an 800 though...But than again I am not the one that really can answer that with facts..

I can get mine to thump, but I am also running them into mg 412 cabs.
