Well, guess what? The wired active Telecaster EMGs from my previous thread have got a new home: MINE!!!



Pots in the harness are EMG so, legit so far...



And Master Tito immediately inspected them and gave his seal of approval!



Now to find the right body, neck and hardware to turn them into something useful! Anybody has some spare parts lying around for sale?

Why do you round off the number so closely?

Hey, Don! Yes, more accurate but I think i'd have a bit of trouble fitting that into a T-Shirt (which BTW, I'm planning to do as soon as they reopen a place here that makes customized t-shirts).

Back in the day, we used to joke about how you can translate anything for an audio engineer by just adding"±3dB" to whatever you say. "E=mc²±3dB", "two traffic lights down the road ±3dB", "preheat the oven to 375° F ±3dB" "Gibson headstocks have a 17° angle ±3dB" and so on and so forth.

Thanks for the kind offer, eSGEe! Not sure how I would frankenstein it to fit the tele EMGs, but let me figure out a way. It's a solid body, I'm assuming?

In the field of work I retired from, trying to pull a signal from below the thermal noise floor, every 1/10th of a dB improvement was like gold !

Once you go into thermal you're over the cliff - ohms everywhere.
