Not that I needed another, but....

John, I NEED to KNOW. WHAT IS THAT BLUE SG? I can't stop staring at this bad boy. Just look at those Bevels.

Also, now that I've tried Smitty's Bigsby, I definitely think I should get at least one guitar with one.

It started as an '80s Burny SG copy. The original plan was to strip it, reshape the bevels and plug the holes for the tailpiece, and then hand it off to Brew in England and have him do a "Fool" paint job.

The getting together with Brew in England never worked. So, I stripped it, reshaped the bevels and plugged the holes for the tailpiece, painted it Pelham Blue from a couple of cans of nitro from Ohio Valley Nitro, then threw a Gibson sticker on it, and then added clear coats.

The Bigsby is a B-5 (not a B-50 or even cheaper B-500). The pickups are Gibson '57 Classic and '57 Classic+, the pots are RS, and caps are .022 Lux Grey Tigers.

I do like the Bigsby. I rarely use it, but it is fun to have.

I had done a thread back when I refinished it on ETSG, but I think it was lost during the change-over. The photos are definitely gone due to photobucket, even if the thread is still there.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad it didn't get The Fool treatment. It's a stunner now.

I got to jam again last night. Things got especially loud. I used the same guitar and pedals.

I'm sold on the Hiwatt (Rhythm) channel. I dialed in my sound and level with the guitar volume at 7.

Pretty much the only pedals I used were the Prince of Tone for occasional solos (usually just turned up the volume knob), my DD-3 delay, and a Wah pedal.

This amp is sick! I'm really glad that I was able to buy it.
