Used to rock out the song "Cool Water", I could listen to that tune back to back for hours and not get sick of it.
My understanding is he was his own main writer? What a great body of work he's left us with, just too bad we don't do this when these guys are still with us.
Was in my late teens and early twenties in his heyday, right in my wheelhouse...………. Here's to you Eddie, and all my musical brotha's here.

I was privileged to meet Eddie on April 27, 1984 at a Fresno performance where I was playing guitar as a fill-in for an opening act.
Humble, and funny, Eddie was super cool and meeting him was an almost surreal experience.
