Ambassador of Good Will
I have been meaning to do a thread on this guitar for a while now.
I put this together about 8 years ago and it is my "keeper" guitar. If the world came to an end and I could only take one with me, this would be the one.
The body and neck are from Warmoth. It is a mahogany back with a natural gloss finish and AAAA flamed maple top finished in Tiger-eye burst. It has a natural, unfinished maple binding just like a PRS.
The neck is mahogany finished in natural gloss. It has an ebony fretboard and an ebony headstock veneer. Interestingly, it has a 25.5" scale length (Sorry Robert!). It has a Graphtech Tusq XL nut.
For those who have not purchased parts from Warmoth, they are absolutely the top of the heap in terms of quality. The fit and finish are perfect. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for.
The bridge and tailpiece are Gotoh. The tuners are Gibson Deluxe keystones.
The pots are EVH (Bourns) low friction 500K pots and the tone caps are Orange Drop 0.22uF.
Pickups are Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 Pro Slash models and sound fantastic!
