I would concur with the wood over paint. Probably why I wasn’t interested in a Strat before I saw this one. An MIM not American. But I bought it and it’s a nice guitar. Does look better in person than in photo.

You got a real beauty there! The way the wood pops and the nice blue shade. The pickup selector option is a real bonus and I've been adding that to all my recent Strats!
