Defective Bourns push/pull pots (new guitar wiring day). Bought this Agile a couple of months ago for its pups (Suhr Aldrich) and color. Added the gold bling and did the 4 p/p Page wiring with added treble bleeds. After I wired it, the neck tone pot did nothing and the bridge volume was full on and did nothing. Turns out the tone pot had no connection to the wiper and the volume pot had a dead short, go figure. These were 500K pots. Not sure if I’ll use Borns again, as I’m a CTS fan, but their pots are larger.

Only played it clean through the Mesa before I head out to the pool. It’s 90 degrees out and the pool water is 86

Lesson learned is I’m gonna test every pot before I install and solder. Trust, but verify....

My new, long shaft pots are coming out of Connecticut and won'tarrive until Monday!!@!!. I threw a junk harness together with Epiphone pots and a quick-connect switch & jack from a Gibson Firebird, just to be ready for rehearsal this Saturday.

I'll build a new harness when my pots arrive...

Robert, I have some CTS push pull pots, it’s just they were a little too large for what I wanted. And, I too use hemostats for my wiring jobs. They come in real handy for steadying wires to solder.

I got side tracked by another project, but I just set the bridge height and pup height earlier this evening. Still strumming on Jailbreak with this setup on out of phase. Last tweak is intonation.
