Started a new project (the 5th DOC) a few weeks ago. I had bought the Warmoth body back in Feb. and then collected parts over the next few months. Ran across some 1979 Gibson pups (2 separate purchases) and decided they were meant for this project. Still have to drill and mount the ebony strap buttons and the trem cover plate. After setup I played it through the Rectoverb. Good solid Gibson sound, very similar to my 79 The SG.

And I forgot to mention. I posted a peek yesterday at Robert's request. I'd been pondering for a name for a while but nothing stuck. I always put a W in there in honor of Warmoth who does the wood work. When Robert posted that it looked like it was on Fire, bam, the light went off and that stuck. Fire Wuilt (Quilted Maple from Warmoth).
