My buddy was a very kind, self-made man. A monster player of guitar & bass. His passing left a big hole in our hearts and bands...he was in a few.
20 years ago he was treated for prostate cancer. Things went ok until a couple years ago...then it boiled up in him again, and despite recent treatments, it spread throughout him. He was the player & rocker until 10 days before he died.
This is his "flagship" song that he wrote & recorded prior to my appearance in the band. He did all the guitar work.

I, myself am probably 99.?% cancer-free from 2 years ago, after much chemo, immuno, surgery, and radiation. I am on disability, yet feel like a professional patient with not so much patience. My doc is doing regular checks for any re-occurrence. We are all mortal types.
