It was delivered Monday by UPS in a torrential downpour. I got the last one in Trans Blue from Rondo. It's Swamp Ash with a bound maple neck and fretboard. Belly and forearm cuts. String through. No sharp frets. Plays and sounds fantastic! I was looking for another decent Tele type without breaking the bank and I think I found a good one.

Thats really nice. Glad you like it.
i like mine but it took some work to get it to a good solid player.
I dig my SX strat and tele, but am finding I like less than 25.5" scale length better in general.

I'm a heavy handed picker, still a newer player at almost 3 years in and a lefty playing righty. I have a hard time with buzz on the low e and a strings below 5.
I have had to go with a little more neck relief which really affects controlling the other strings ringing on heavy bends as the overall action tends to be a bit higher from 5 to about 10. And my fingers pushing under the other strings on big bends as part of that. I'm a blues / blues rock player so big bends are a big part of my playing.
Just finished a session playing the strat so it is on my mind.

Thanks! I had to quickly replace the strings after receiving it. The strings were crap and unplayable. I am a pretty picky player. All the notes on the neck have to be buzz free and have to ring out, with no dull or dead notes. It will drive me nuts and I will work on it until it's right. I don't like real low string height. This guitar plays very well. I got a good one. I'm happy. I know... that you don't always get a good one. I've gotten... "not so good" guitars before. I got lucky this time. It's always a gamble ordering online. I gotten rid of several guitars that I bought new online that just didn't make the cut in the long run for me.

Yep the stock strings are just to use while you give it a good looking over to make sure it is not going back!
Glad you got a good one. Those nuts are rarely cut well; might benefit from some fine tuning.
