The Martin is gone...
I liked the tuners, great quality and feel.
The woods looked ugly, so the guitar never felt special.
The neck was very ugly, but very functional, very straight and excellent for a travel guitar.
I didn't like the nut or saddle material; the nut was cut ok while the bridge was way off.
I didn't like the bakerlite neck even though it was functionally good - I want to rub some oil in, feel it breathing...
I didn't like the bakerlite bridge; just ugly. I'm not saying that bakerlite is a bad material, seemed very functional, but detracted from my feel rather than added to it - for me.
The guitar felt good in the hand, well balanced and comfortable.
The sound was bad, but that was because the saddle was wayyyy tooo high and my technique is terrible. I'm not convinced the guitar, even with a good setup, would've ever sounded good - I don't think that's only the size, the design choices too.
The electronics were really nice, the Isys 3 Fishman was very good; nice tuner, nice button to bring a scooped sound in and nice phase reversal (very effective) as wellas a good volume control - easy to use. The input jack in thebottom strap button was ergonomically excellent.
The gigbag was ok, not good enough to keep longterm, so you'd need to spend more money on a case or strong gigbag, imho.
The guitar was a lot of money for a small laminate acoustic with a solid top, so I expected it to sound and play really nicely, but it did not, so I took it back and got me money back. I think I partially bought on the name rather than the instrument's qualities, and that was an error.
