But I thought you were another one of those nice Canadians? I'm sure you will at least give them a chance to make things right, wouldn't you? I love when others kiss my a$$...![]()
Well. If your attached file in the original post is the actual photo of your guitar. There is no damage when they took the photos. So if that is your guitar. Damage happened after the photo shoot.
Happy NGD!!! Handsome/classy axe!Had my eye on this one for a while, finally called my guy at Sweetwater got it Plek'd, set up and a case for a sweet price! Ships tomorrow, probably see it Wednesday. The one that says "Sold" is mine. :dood:
So lame. Sorry that happened to you. I'd exchange it.Well, after waiting almost a week, I got the Tele today, it's great! FedEx is so slow lately and there was one small problem (see picture.) Don't know how that happened, I informed my rep at Sweetwater, so we'll see what happens. Otherwise everything else was great, guitar plays great, sound killer! I'm happy!

Suhr no longer offer the Rasmus line made over seas for quite some time now. John got to frustrated with their QC and having to fix them here. They lost money on those guitars but with what they learned they put into the satin series which is a more "affordable" guitar.I get it now...
the same factory that manufactures Jackson, Suhr, etc...located at Indonesia.
The issue I had is that the fret locations were a bit off (slightly) when I bought a Jackson Artist.
I could never get the intonation exactly right, it was always a wee bit out no matter.
But Fender QA should be able to sort that I hope.
This is the kind of intonation thing that drives people like Robert and me crazy, but most people wouldn't notice it.
And after all, it is $800 not $4000.
OK so it's not really a Telecaster at all, closer to a PRS than a Fender is.
Bolt on necks do irritate me.
The sound of Ash bodies and maple necks never appealed to me. Too dead sounding, no sustain.
I always thought Fender PU placement was retarded. Too many dead spots.
But mahogany is a different story altogether.
I could care less about coil switches, maple tops, fancy polished finishes.
Seymour Duncan, I never thought his PUs were that great, compared to Gibson.
I would rather they put the money where it really matters - playability.

I am the same, after working retail and mgt for 25 years, I always give a shop a chance to fix any problems. Because so much can happen, if I didn't I might run out of stores to deal with!
I'd give them a chance to remedy it first. If i got a guitar that came with that damage i would send it back, just saying, if a business sent me a guitar with that damage on it, i would send it back tell them i want my money back. And i would never do business with them again.
Sweetwater is really good with stuff like that. They will most likely send you a replacement and pay for the shipping for the return. I had a similar problem a few weeks ago.Well, after waiting almost a week, I got the Tele today, it's great! FedEx is so slow lately and there was one small problem (see picture.) Ask for a steep discount and keep it. Then fix it! Eventually, guitars that get played get blemished anyway. Just consider it a great B-stock sale that you didn't know you were getting!
