Yup. I got this sweet Yamaha FS 340 for $30

My nephew loves it.

Build quality is equal or (sometimes) better to any Fender -- Gibson -- and check the price of say a 1981 Strat or Les Paul--try 1800 to 2300 -- thats a SHITE TON more zeros and the T-60 can sound DAMN CLOSE to either of them

I got THIS one

Man, that strap chafed something awful. I replaced it with your standard cheap Ernie Ball type. The shop was out of them but I switched straps with my dreadnaught, which I don't play as often.

Well I needed another 25.5" scale guitar in standard tuning so I scouted around my local Facebook Marketplace and found this Peavey. Asked the guy if he was interested in trades and he responded 'I've always wanted a wah wah' and I replied 'you're in luck!'

My friend Bert gave me an almost new Crybaby GCB-95 with box and manuals in payment for the labour of repairing the electronics in his SG and Telecaster. So I had that laying around and it didn't owe me much.

It came with a soft bag and a set of strings. I ended up using Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky strings instead though

It was also covered with fingerprints, had a bridge that was incorrectly adjusted, had rusty strings, and a dirty fretboard:

I gave it a good clean, adjusted the bridge and blocked the tremolo with 3mm MDF, tightened a loose tone pot, and fitted a new set of Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky 9-46 strings (rather than the Fender bullet strings that came with it). I also added a strap.

I just need to adjust the pickup heights now
I have the same guitar, color, bridge, p/ups, would you know what year it is?
