Got me this chaming hybrid guitar yesterday for $200, a cool 1991 made in USA Peavey Generation series S-3 model.
Bi laminate maple neck, alder chambered body , flame maple top , and only 6.2 lbs.
Looks like a Telecaster but plays like a Strat with a twist from the bridge pickup.
Hard to see in the pics but the top and the neck are nicely flamed. It's a totally different beast than the S-2 model I already own.
