I like how the base coat and blending of the flames is several shades of light and darker oranges.

Thank you, Chili!! Looking forward to seeing what arcane designation I'll be bestowed by the Wise Council Of TTR Elders... and Boo, of course!MAN Six, you will make 1000 pretty fast. Good job,
Six, I have been studying some great videos on custom painting. I am thinking, I may take the simplistic approach with this RR3 since it has asymmetrical points and the scratch plate.
I may start by doing the repair in Black like Jtcnj mentioned, and can always change it later after I perfect my painting skills on some sacrificial projects like a Squier Strat Starcaster body I have.
If I do change the black, I think I will go basic but stunning Orange Metal Flake,, a cool Green I did a snare drum in, or Silver Metal Flake like the Orange I already mentioned. What I see happening is I will need to bang it out and be done with it and playable within a week or so, or then drag things out for months on end as I hone my skills in flames etc and finally do it once I am skilled enough.
The skills of this guy are what I am after. I really love the outcome in the 2nd video here. If I do black, I can always Orange flame it up later.
Thank you, Brother Mitch!!@SIx String Chef you my brother are going to eclipse that mark in no time my friend
