into VM 2266...TNT...oi..oi...had to play that first notes, Nice guitar, Pickups are very good..crunches nice..does raunchy blues good, Overall a very good sounding usable guitar that fits in the lineup very well

"SIP" Gretsch 2655 into a Bugera V22 ..no pedals gain on 5 master on 5. Copped some cool tone on this song.. won it on ebay cheap & was blown away by the quality of that Semi

the semi was $299 bid & new one $238.. can not find a flaw on em..the 2923 is kinda a 2 year run maybe,not much info on it,solid body humbucker..it has a tinge of gretsch twang or something like that, still retains a slight gretsch sound,,but def gets down with heavies. It is solid..nice weight..Found out you can set them up real low & easy playing.

what started me into gretsch was this freak buy in the mid 200's...just bid & forgot about it...all the sudden..i won..paid & soon as tuned up & adjusted action.. after receiving this happened..a song came immediately..so we scrapped the song we were doing in the studio next for this...had to scramble a bit...but wanted to run with the "raw" sound...Bugv22 sounded awesome paired with Gretchen

looking at Ninja's red...i really dig Gretsch's red color...also their pickups are very dirty but stay clear in heavy overdrive..seem to be able to really work with it in a controllable way...almost naughty dirty
