2. A wiring issue. I cannot say this is the ONLY way you will experience hum when touching the metal, but innp my case, I reversed the tip and sleeve on the output jack. Small errors can result in large problems, and large anmounts of wasted time! Hopefully I have saved someone some time by posting my folly.

Upon reflection, I guess they are both ground issues, just reversed.
 
ok got it.well like i replyed to someone about hum,on most my guitars when the gain is cranked up or the dirt box is on i can hear a slight hum that stops when i touch the strings but with the gain down or dirt box off it doesnt hum.

I don't know why I haven't ordered an Agile yet. I've been looking at them for years, and even have run in to, and played, a couple in the wild(but they've been baritone models).
 
if you do ----you will truly wonder why you didnt sooner.....for all the slag haging...taring--feathering and bad mouthing ...Rondo puts out great gear---and if you get on the email list---you can score some HUGE deals on returns/discounts/scratch n dents.....etc.
Why as we speak you can score this absolutely LOVELY blueburst for UNDER 330.00

I've been surfing their site for like 11 years. They ship via ground to me, and I get it next day. The guitar that I always had my eye on was the old, I think, AD series...the old double cut(but weird shaped), flat top, mahogany, p90 loaded...I think it was the AD2000 or some such thing. I liked the idea of ordering one, but they discontinued them. I have four LP single cut style guitars that I like already(three arch top, and one sorta special-ish...only one of them is a Gibson), and I'm more comfortable with an SG, or V, but their versions don't do it for me.
Maybe I'll order up one of their Strat or Tele models some day.

I have had a pedalboard case from them for all those 11 years, and a microphone road case for a few years too...I've just never pulled the trigger on one of their guitars.

Edit: it was the AD2300 that I wanted.
