I never thought that such a simple change of the Epi's new headstock style would make much of a difference, but it does! Much more sleeker and flowing. Good decision on Gibson's part...

and it appears the Beveling is deeper -- more like a Gibson SG than the Epis of old that were well....not AS BEVELED as a Gibson....can you comment Sir @Sp8ctre ??

The beveling goes further in to the body as in more toward the pickups, but not so much deeper as depth of cut in the wood. They look deeper in that respect than the picture you posted...

The bevel at the top also goes deeper from what I see.

strings on non-locking tuners...
