Well, it arrived on time and despite the box looking like it had been run over by a truck the guitar is fine.

I may need to borrow a fork lift from someone to play this one. It weighs 9 pounds! These are non-weight relieved
and after getting this one out of the case I believe it! It may have something to do with my bad arm as well...

I'm at work and a little busy...so no plugging in just yet, but I did take some pics because we all know, "without pics..."

Very nice. Killer-looking guitar. And 9 pounds is the sweet-spot for a Les Paul IMO, not too heavy and not too light (my '79 is a hair over 11 and you feel that weight after a couple hours with it hung on you).

I guess picking it up with a bum shoulder doesn't help! I'm still recovering from the surgery.

They're never going to tell us what "Resonwood" was but I'm guessing it was some kind of epoxy. Those guitars are cool tho

I think your right -- that one is all original a TIME MACHINE so to speak with real (hated by many) Velvet Bricks Bill Lawrence humbuckers ---through a Marshall it NAILS old school "KISS" tone perfectly
