Pretty funny, this guitar now became the standard for all other set ups. Did this on the 14 SGJ first month got it years ago & never had touch it again,
The action on this guitar is so easy to play. Def like the neck to adjust over a few days & then re tweak. Been finding out lil past bottom out & then back up vs never bringing it down. Not so much about how low but how much the play ability enhances by getting the bridge & neck set right on with string height & pickup height.
Also bringing those pole pieces up did excellent things to the pick up response. It was way to low. Guitar was absolutely playable from factory but not in a band or recording situation. I can see why people get a guitar & criticize but no merit there at all until proper set up is done.
