NGD - Dog Ear Days

I am having a heck if an evening fellas. I keep going back and forth between the '96 SG and the Jr., both through the new Fender Princeton Amp. They both play amazing, except I needed to do some work to get the SG in shape. Other than lowering the action and re-setting the intonation, the Jr. was perfect...except I killed the G-force battery and I had to do some serious manual twisting!! It has about a 1:1 ratio manually!

You know my thoughts, RVA, I have been blown away by my dogear junior - by far the best guitar I have ever played or heard ; you can get every sound out of it without using pedals.

I hope you enjoy her as much as I'm enjoying mine.

TOLD YA SO. --- you know I was going to say it------I had to ;)

ONLY "Modern" Giibson I played in years that didnt leave me cold.

They put SOMETHING special in that model/year cant put my finger on it but they just ---well---work
When your're right your're right. You were right!

It doesnt happen often -- but when I am --- its MAGIC :)

hey.........wait................so this means you will NOT be selling it to me ?!?!?!?! SHITE!

Does that fretboard need a bit of oil? Looks a tad dry in those pics.

Just a simple and beautiful guitar.

There's a 2015 NOS available locally, and I'm kinda tempted, but at $1000 it seems approaching double the money they blew-out at in the UK/US.

You haven't been heeding the advice of one of your intellectual heroes, PhilX, on the science of full string vibration...

Saw him with Bon Jovi in the R&R hall of fame performance tonight. Good for him. Hey, he is smart enough to make prime time!

He is wacky to say the least, and rather cliched, but he's an excellent player, and I kinda like him in short (very short) spells. He loves a junior...
