90's Korean Dean V Select burst. It just balance right on you..no hands & then tucking into your leg for leads. what a weapon ! Has some kind of Seymour Duncan in bridge that reminds me of a Dmarzio Super D, the Neck balances real nice-put it down lower on bass side to get a real usable blend.

The guitar is set up to hit JMP with the gain down a hair & let the pick up slam it. These pickups will be fine. The next 2..one of em is getting the dirty Fingers for that mid sound that i really like leading with. With the "My Wall" project now in full swing..really want to make music that takes me back to the days we rocked hard. As we age, nothing fires me up more than rocking out still. Things seem to be ok in that zone..know we can't go back..but sure can hold on to it !! This Dean is amazing in quality..fit & finish & sounds great !

I wonder if that bridge pickup is a “Screamin Demon”...
Nice looking V! Congratulations!

After the last recording session..it is tight like the demon would be..the top row of hex right? Visually it seems to look like one.

Good call ! was hoping it is..Too good this way..not changing that pick up. The neck matches in intensity but just has a lower sound..really liquid sounding in lead lines.

Everything been recording last year..out the window ,,lol..

right where i want to be..on a 20 song project & it is basically about 1983 year i graduated up to the Towers fell in 01 which encompasses my worst times & of life.. but ..how i beat the odds & crawled out of deaths grip..1 step was in the grave for a long time no doubt..

trying to figure out how much of the story is pretty darn mirroring the time. What a thing to write about,,but truth really is the easiest thing to come out cause you can't fake it..the deep down explodes out & emotion seems to ride right with it..especially on the drums

@Thatbastarddon

What do you think about the Dirty Fingers going in the Dean ML incoming? it has Dmarzio Super D in neck & F spaced Duncan Parallel Axis which is going too go in my lead machine,,the 86 Washburn G2v..its one heck of a lead player with that neck & adds the Super strat option ..

My gut feeling is the lil extra mass of the ML will pair well with the DF'ers.

I’m betting that the Dirty Fingers will be fine in that axe!

I Just recorded 'Famliar" song 5 for "My Wall". tend to think its a Screamin Demon based n the construction & it sure does what SD claims it does.

It really is a nice old school pick up. The V is a very well balanced guitar sitting & standing. Recorded well & i noticed ..it might not be a favorite on its own but through jcm800 or jmp..sure does sound good. it really cuts through or should i say, places it self well in a mix.

Possibly an SH-5 Custom?

My V Select came with the SH-5

That's a sexy V, btw!

I wasn't a V fan until I had one, now I almost want only V's.

Sweet axe! Congrats!

Blink, with ya on that. The V is the easiest guitar to play i ever experienced. Keep going back & looking at Schenker, KK, Albert King & even Tom Petty used to sport one. A rock & blues machine..not just metal. I can see set a few V's up & covering all the bases..huge bonus..they have legs to stand on.

Just re amped my guitar for 'Familiar" I recorded a DSL & the dry signal last night

took my laptop w/ Reaper & Steinberg MK interface. We used maxon 808 with a smidge of delay into his JCM 800 into 800 cab from 80's also. with SM57 strait & 45.

Wow ..the Dean, it made my day with the sound. I think i might run with JCM 800 n this one & maybe an old school 5150. Use the JMP for the leads. It just sounds right to my ears..keeping original sound of my band but adding some texture.
