All the p90 talk, Stunning,,right out the box played it. Always set up first, but soon as i held it & looked down neck. Action is very very good. The fit & finish is flawless..every Gibson i ever got..soon as you grab..ya know..its a a balanced well crafted instrument to allow you to play your best. I have sat back for last 2 years & just took in the bashing..just isnt true..maybe the only guitar i ever got that doesn't need a set up immediately. Fits right in with the guitars am using for this CD. P90..no noise. left it dimed..facing my amp with a RAT on..just did not produce the humm or squel any dif than a humbucker...maybe that $15 buffer is the trick at end of pedal board before amp?

Congratulations sir!
It’s nice to hear of a good start!
Your story sounds like my experience with my SG Standard P90, so far.
I hope it continues to be a good one!
you guys helped me get to a p90. Also, minimalist..was struggling with wanting 2 pickups. But the way been playing..this works great 5 on guitar is full chords..7 starts the break & dimed..p90's really get it for leads..I always thought they very articulate with the dirt always a click away..very much going to use this guitar !!

that girl just makes ma knees knock.
Guitar, I mean guitar.

Congrats and Enjoy!

That is what I like to call "The Right Stuff", since the moon landing 50th anniversary is around the corner.
I think today, the 16 was launch day. (if you believe in that kind of stuff)

I got a 3P90 guitar, and while I do play on the other switch settings it is mostly on the bridge.

How is balance standing: is there significant neck dive?

Thanks !!my main guitars are SG's..so the neck dive is ok with me(its less than typical SG)..but i strap em tight to me & it never was a problem , To me this is a thicker SG..the flat body & hand positioning..same with Nighthawk...after some more time with it. Its fast..its articulate..put it on the 74 Super Reverb this go round..it can get very aggressive. yet, back down & its so tight & clean. It instantly will become the guitar live for all the strumming songs..the dif sounds from strumming in different places is very appealing..you can strum away without smacking a pickup at times by mistake in the heat of battle. Still blown away it doesn't need set up.. want too but it is dead on Gibson factory specs at all measurements

WOW-- I mean WOW -- wowie wow wow --- wosers and ZOINKIES! ---

THEN -- from out of left field comes BFT --- with a KILLER AXE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have played those -- and -- was very impressed with them ...

COngrats!
is that the typical p90 from Gibson in this. My 2015 Tv yellow DC did not come close to this thing in tone. I loved the TV Yellow but it did not do what this does for some reason..a rare Gibson that left the stable

I have no idea its a soap bar and looks a little different than my 2015 JR dog ear -- adjustable screws for 1 thing -- cant be the same pup----
-- did you get any scampi on it?????
am sitting here in a big pile of non movement..scampi mission complete..guitar survived...now you mention it..the 2015 was dif. I think these have way more range..the tone knob has a huge sweep compared to 15. The pickup is def clearer but also slightly more agressive

I love LP Juniors. They're kind of elemental somehow, pared down to the bare necessities: pure essence of guitar.
Glad you got a great one. Looks totally cool.
Enjoy.

PS: Height adjustment on a P90 is a great function, nice modern touch without messing up the vintage design.
