now--- just look at that ONE builder/Mfct. ------- then mutiply that by ALL THE OTHERS-- VOX -- Yamaha-- Peavey-- Bugera --Behringer--- ET ALL---and then try and TELL ME ROCK GUITAR IS DEAD!!!!!!!!!!! :mad:

they aint making all them amps to use with HARMONICAS ----- or KEYBOARDS..............


I think "MYTH DEBUNKED" on that guitar is dead thing
 
Congratulations! I love McCartys. Surprising how just ⅛" of extra body thickness fattens up the tone. And feel.

Yours is a very pretty one.

I bet the Thornbuckers work really well in that guitar; stock McCarty humbuckers are evenly voiced but a little tame; it can take a fair amount of volume before they light up and come alive.

I played it at the weekly jam last night. It might just have been me but I seem to think it sounded better last week. I was having some pedal problems though. I think someone was twiddling my knobs when I wasn’t looking (insert joke here).
It didn’t seem to have any “thump and crunch” last night. I am sure it must just be some more fiddling required.
