There was a reason that my Strat thread was titled NGD #1.
Shortly after getting the Strat I was feeling some seller’s remorse for getting rid of my PRS McCarty Core. To remedy the situation I made a deal to obtain a PRS S2 Custom 22 Semihollow. I love it! In a lot of respects I think that it plays better than the McCarty. The neck is great and it feels amazing in the hand.

Yeah, I gotta cool it for a while! I am at the point now that I want to keep everything that I have and all my gear is good stuff. I don’t have anymore trade bait.

It certainly does!

Even though the S2 series is made in USA, the pickups are the same import ones that are used in the higher end PRS SE guitars.

Still, they sound great both as full humbucker and split as single coils. I have no desire to swap them out.
