If the Agile AL-3200 I was considering was under 9lbs or so, and had a more rounded neck profile, I would have went with that.
On the downside is the resale value if I was to sell.
But the 10lb + was the deal killer.

@gball made the comment that at the price point I was considering, I was in the neighborhood of a used Gibson Studio - thanks again for solid advice.
So I went looking, and mainly figured I could sell without much loss things went that way.

The sellers pics and description were very accurate on the used condition regarding dings, dents, scratches, etc.

It checks out 100%; the pots were a little stiff and scratchy but cleaned up nice with a shot of Faderlube.

I have since put the TRC cover back on.

I now have it dialed in nicely; at first I was not liking the Burstbucker Pro pickups.
The bridge is the higher winding.
After a little height and pole screw settings, some tweaking amp settings - very happy.

Really like the 50's neck profile.
A big thing for me is upper fret access - one of the main reasons I wanted the Agile.
The Agile AL-2000 LP below I had had a bit taller, blocky neck heel and made it difficult.
This does not and I can reach just as well as my 2 AXL LP types with the contoured body/neck heel.

Wanna trade for Duncans?
(minus the covers)
I think the Studio is a pretty playable guitar.
It's chambered, (ultra modern) but it really doesn't seem to be overly microphonic. I was concerned about the hollow cavities causing too much feedback. That wasn't really a problem.

Heads up
you can't measure the PU accurately unless it's disconnected from the pots...

A great big congrats on your first LP. You know there's no going back now, don't you. The studio's are great guitars. I regret selling the 50's tribute model (P90's) I had. Bought used, they do hold their value well. I sold it easily for the same as I paid for it. Just a FWIW regarding the studio models being chambered, the Les Pauls that Garry Rossington gets off Gibson these days are all chambered too. Enjoy your new axe. Cheers
