NFDAD

It's here , about 95%
The amp works but has a problem at the EQ. Somehow the Treble pot cuts out almost cuts all the sound but I moved it to a spot it will play. Despicable recording. Lol
Anyway , I like the sound of the amp and speaker they used. I think I was on the classic gain . Switched on low setting.
Playing my Strat with a A2 HB.

I stripped the cab today , my idea now is either repair the cab or I could just build a head cab from scratch.

It's funny, a glimpse of how silly the internet is. So obviously I was doing a lot of searching in the last couple of weeks.
Google comes up with a post "top 7 metall amps ?
Hmm , for the budget DSL 40CR. I think a Mesa was top pick and the Katana was 3rd.

Interesting part was how the review said the Marshall was well constructed ?
No it's literally in a McDonald's French fry box. Lmfao

However that being said it did survive the horrendous impact despite the fools packaging.

Wow. Just noticed this. What a blumber!! :(
It is a bummer but more for the guy that bought it before me.
I knew it was damaged when I bought it for a discounted price. :beers:
I didn't pay what he asked for it. I would have paid less but he must have had a lower limit set (actually higher than my lower limit) ? Anyway , I like the amp.

That stuff is all fixable if you want to keep the combo configuration.
Work some carpenter's wood glue in all the cracks and cavities, and clamp it all back into shape.
Perhaps add some cleats on the inside to align everything straight.
I've done some major reconstructive surgery on particle board with just glue & clamps.
Sand down anything that's sticking out...
As you said, tolex will cover everything and you'll never know.

I might fix it but I am currently looking for a cab to cannibalize. Maybe a 2 x 12 and turn it in to a DSL 40 CR 2 x 12 combo.
Big and heavy but it will probably never move much.
