New Used Guitar Day

Was only out browsing, but found something interesting at a "good" price, so now I'm the owner of a well used Ibanez RG, with a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a passive EMG alnico in the neck.

Lots of battle scars, and needs some work, but I like a challenge.

In the process of cleaning, setting up, playing etc..

But here's my new used pointy head guitar.

Agreed, they seem to work out for me.

@Robert Herndon in his thread was saying, in his case they don't work out, I always have good- consistent luck with those.

Usually I just leaves 'em as I finds 'em
Agree completely! When i decided to tweak my Tele sometime ago, i knew i wanted a humbucker of some sorts but obviously didnt want to rout the guitar out. After mulling over all the options by watching videos, the JB jr was easily my favorite and its been a great all-around pickup. The full sized humbucker JB obviously has more girth and bite however!

JB's are great pickups!!!! For me, and my style, I found them to not have enough "Gain-A-Bility" for my tastes, but then look at George Lynch!!!!! He had great results with them!!!!

no no.............................my present. ;)

Ok, as an aside, show you how sick I am.

That's my present from my elderly parents, on a fixed income.

I never unrap it in front of them, and by New Years they forget, so I just bring it every year and tell them they gave it to me the present year, and it saves them money, they still feel good, and I get a tradition in the family lol.

Ya, I'll bring that next year and tell them they mailed it to me?
