Just picked up this kind of odd ball, but cool looking, ToneSmith 316 solid body with Minnesota Aspen back and maple top on the body. Found the guy that made them on Facebook and he said that it appears to be all original. Figured I post a couple pics of it as it's a guitar I haven't heard or seen much of until now. Seems to play real nice, neck is nice and straight. I'll be pulling things off and looking at it closer later on. Here's the pics:

what are the pups? Foils?

The guy who made the guitar Seymour Duncan mini humbuckers or Kent Armstrong in his covers or later on Lace Sensor pickups. Peaking thru the two foil pups they look like Lace Sensor. When I tear it apart here in the near future I'll know for sure. I looks kind of funky but it plays and feels real nice in the hands.
