I still have a wiring issue to sort out. I used this schematic:



I ended up having to swap around the switch connections as the pickup selection was backwards (ie. Neck on when I selected bridge and vice versa).
The issue is that I do not have anything at all in the middle switch position. I have verified that I am wired exactly as the diagram above. Can someone else have a look to see if there is an error in the diagram maybe?

Check the position and the contacts on the switch, pots and the wires. It may be a bent connection on the switch or an unwanted ground somewhere.

Ok guys. Everything is finished. I found a wiring mistake and that corrected my middle position silence issue.

Thanks Norm. Considering that it is a chambered body it still feels to be about the same weight as my other strat.
It sounds really great. Can't wait to try it out at jam night this week.

Ninja the slight crack in your finish can be stopped from spreading with a couple of drops of super glue. Just use it sparingly.
