Thanks Norm.Great work Dave!!
I cant wait to RUBMYJUNK on it......................................................On to the Bigsby...
Picked up a new B5 and proceeded to hack it up.

First thing I did was machine off the upper most mounting leg & polish the area. This extra hunk of ugly metal always bugged me, when there, a spiffy place for the attachment screw inside the spring pocket. Cleans up the look, I think.

Then I pull the pins & drill & chamfer the string bar. It makes restringing the Bigsby, as easy as restring a stop tailpiece.

I also machine off the nub that keeps the bar from swinging in a full arc, & polish the arm lever.
That all makes for a great working and easy to live with Bigsby.
Thanks Goo, Every ounce of my being wanted one, even toyed with the thought of hacking one up and surface mounting it. Like I did with my hacked up B3 on the Zero.Thing looks great Dave. No B7 ?![]()

You shall sir, you shall.I cant wait to RUBMYJUNK on it......................................................

Hackmaster gone wild. You had me doubting my self now, Greg.
