New project

Hi all, I'm working on a new project as therapy, to keep me from sitting around watching TV & drinking beer all day.
I've been wasting way too much time doing unconstructive :poo: and needed ways to occupy my time better.
The small local projects that come my way aren't enough to keep myself busy, and I always end up with entire afternoons spent watching old black & white Westerns on TV with nothing to show for it except for a recycling bin full of empty beer cans and a couple of roaches in the ashtray.

So here's where I need some help.
I'm trying to wrap my head around how to wire three P90's, with three volumes, one tone, and push pulls for series parallel on two of the pickups, and phase switching on the other.
The neck & bridge P90's are an alnico 2 set, with hum canceling in the middle position, through the 3 way switch.
The middle P90 is an alnico 5.

My thinking is have the middle pickup with a phase push pull, so it could be used in combination with either neck or bridge and still have the hum canceling effects available at the push pull.
But I also want to have a push pull to put two P90's in series, creating a mudbucker effect. Doesn't matter which two.

My question to the pickup & wiring gurus is...
Can I accomplish my objective with the following two wiring diagrams.

I've removed the old school braided shield single conductor hook up wire and rewired all three P90s to three wire, meaning the + and - leads are separate and isolated form the shield.

I'd like to be sure what I'm attempting will work before I waste another set of pots.

I ended up with a little different wiring scheme, but I think it will accomplish my objective.
Did a trial run hooking up everything outside the guitar today and it passed the tap on the poles test.

Now, on to the guitar itself.
A month or so ago I met Adrian for lunch and he showed me his new project.
But it was far from being a valid guitar...
The wood was pretty good. But most of the other parts were cheap, sub grade junk.
Well somehow, a few weeks later, I ended up with custody of it.

Tossed everything but the wood itself...

And started over.
It was routed for two mini humbuckers. That soon changed to three P90 routs.

Also added a belly carve.

Much better, but that headstock bugged me now. It didn't look like a proper Firebird headstock to me

more like a flipped over generic Strat headstock.

I know that the birds without the banjo type tuners had the plain black headstock

But I wanted the stepped edge with the two tone finish. So I got to work...

Then it was time to get some color onto the body & neck. Also darkened the fretboard, and plugged the tailpiece stud holes, as they won't be needed.

Next step was a couple coats of clear lacquer to seal things up and a proper edgeburst.

Now it was a waiting game with the weather.

Thanks guys, now I'm just waiting on the weather to cooperate, as my work shed is somewhat outdoors.
Gave the last guitar that I pieced together to the neighbor kids for Christmas.
Funny thing, it too was from Adrian. I'm seeing a pattern here...
A plywood sub human, Maestro Lester Jr. with a broken truss rod.
Picked up a new neck from FleaBay for $40, had a hot ceramic pickup laying around, and tossed in a Wilkenson wrap around bridge and a set of tuners that I got in a box of parts from Goo.

Needless to say, the kids were delighted, and they got a great playing guitar that I couldn't have gotten $100 for.

Hopefully the hardware of the tuning machines won't hang over the stepped edges!

Hack, I am expecting an LP that is equipped with a T Top in the neck, and a Dimarzio in the bridge. It has 2 switches that operate coil split and 2nd switch is Out of phase. I can post a pic of controls for you.
