New project

Let's talk nail polish....at least for guitar touch ups!

Gel nail polish does not harden. I am told by some ladies that it will harden under ultra violet light, but that seems like unnecessary effort. It is also inferior to laquer polish in that it doesn't level as well. I was unaware the there was any difference between polishes other than color until this experience.

And so, in the words of Forest Gump, that's all I have to say about that

This one is in the books! I tried out the black hardware and did not look back. Wilkinson tuners. You will note 2 abalone knobs and one black, which is how I remember which knobs are active (necessary since I do not play the same guitar that frequently). One pot splits the bridge and the other swaps the pup combo from middle only to neck /bridge in position 3, which is a good idea IMHO

@Robert Herndon impressive shielding job motivated me. Touch up "paint" (nail polish) comes tomorrow, and then I can put it all together

@RVA - I also shield the back cover and add a strip of tape to connect it - electrostaticlly - to the spring claw. I've had a few situations where you could move the guitar around on your body and it would react (electronically) to a belt buckle, and this mod knocked it...
