New Pedal Power Day

I am using a One Spot from Sweetwater (not an Ebay knock-off) to power my board. Its quiet in all conditions that i have been exposed to with it...

I have a Boss BCB-60 and a BCB-30 and I just use the Boss daisy chain power supplies. I've never had the most remote issue with noise or performance in any room I have used them in, even in one space with a known grounding issue that would require a ground lift on the amps. Meanwhile my old band mate was constantly struggling with all kinds of noise and phase issues with his fancy complicated pedalboard setup, using a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power. I've said it before - the Boss stuff just works, hassle-free and every time.

That's awesome. and i really appreciate the encouraging share!!!!

I must say that i wouldn't totally overhaul my sound arbitrarily. I really like this group that i am involved with and that makes me want to just do whatever i can to make it easier or better for our band.

But, its way outside my comfort zone!!!!

I have 2 BC60s with the Boss power supplies. No issues with noise, both in front of the amp and some in the loop.

Tonight, I'm going to spend some time working on my tone. I want to focus on my solo tone first...something full and thick, with a midrange edge...then maybe back down the gain a bit on 'Lead 2' and roll off some of the clean boost from the TS-9. The rhythm generally will be good after that.

If i can clean it up a little, I'll shoot for more clarity and presence, with a little less dirt.

When I play through my Mark 5 I have been backing way off the gain. I've been spending most of my time on the red channel Xtreme mode and I have the gain at about 11:00/11:30. A boost in front pushes it right into saturation territory but keeping the gain lower retains the clarity I want. I can even use a DS-1 in front and get pure '80's crunch.

I've had no issues with daisy chaining 6 pedals of a 1.7A RockBoard Power Ace wall wort.
But I just got a Boss RC-3 and it doesn't like the daisy chain.
I plugged it into its own Boss PSA-230 and it's quiet now.
I think it's time to get one of these isolated PSUs.
My total current draw is only 785mA. The Hog on the board is my Zoom MS-70CDR @ 500mA.
Thomann do a Harley Benton clone of the Ammoon for about the same price, and I am thinking they are they all the same unit but rebranded.

My digitech drop pedal dose not like ither iso or dasy chain it has to be on its own the one it came with... im thinking maybe my power supply is not enough?

I have the 5 output version of this. No problems with it except with a vintage Dyna Comp that has no power input filtering whatsoever... That one would probably work better with a linear power supply.

Well, I took the plunge with the Ammoon Isolated Power Supply that @jtcnj bought.
It will take a while to get here though, 3-4 weeks through Amazon UK.
The situation with Thomann is getting quite complicated in the UK since Brexit (damn you Farage!).
So I decided it wasn't worth the hassle and hidden costs for the Harley Benton version.
Fingers crossed it's a winner.
