New Pedal Power Day

Another try at cheap but quiet pedal power. This claims to be isolated.
I considered the Caline unit popular in the Great White North, which seems to be similar or the same as Donner, or several similar out there.

But I went with this one for under $40 USD:

Running it along with a One Spot
Only tried it as above, quiet so far.
Re-routed the power setup but will plug it all in this evening.
Took almost 2 weeks to arrive.

I'm always skeptical about very inexpensive knockoffs, but this product constantly gets decent reviews. In fact, I did not find a single negative review by anybody who actually has one of these... (y)

EXACTAMUNDO Mr. Groovy Beach Greg!!

Just hope it lasts a while.
I'll check it out fully loaded in about 5 long hours.

I've been wanting a decent power source for years now.
Silly as it sounds, I'm really excited and hope this is a winner.
If not I will concede a cheapskates defeat and buy Voodoo or something in the $100 range.
Power!!

Cool deal - I think I'm going to ear mark that for a purchase in the not to distant future, as part of my hoping to play with real people again project ;)

Yep, nice looking unit, so hope it works out for you.

I paid decent money for the MXR brick, and am not overly impressed by it - average, some pedals get along with it, some do not; wouldn't buy it again. If this one works well at this price then you've got a bargain there...

So far, this is working out really well.

I usually on have on a little reverb and / or delay, sometimes compressor,
and 1 or 2 dirt pedals tops. Mostly 1 or 2 at a time.
I pick and choose what I have on at any time.
My board is a bunch of cheap pedals I wanted to try the effect.

The main thing is this power supply is dead quiet, no hum or hiss from it.
When my amps are turned up, they have a noise floor that is pretty quiet, but it is there when not playing.
Dirt pedals can add a little more hiss or amplify the amp.
The power supply is not introducing any additional noise.

So far, it is a winner, hope it lasts.

Took a chance on what looks to be the same unit in different packaging.
Have reservations about buying anything from China these days, but I suppose it is somewhat unavoidable.
Price is up $9. and cant avoid the sales tax, but here goes:

I got the Ammoon version today.
Used it with 2 pedals; my Biyang reverb pedal had some hiss with the One Spot and is quiet on this one.
And the TC Mojomojo I got from @Sp8ctre Chris recently.
I will load it up and see what happens; so far so good.
