New Pedal Kit Day... Phase Royal

NICE!
I keep forgetting to turn the heat down more on the solder station and the footswitch lugs start melting out of the switch
my A/B/Y went together real quick and easy- its super simple with few components.
Lol you just reminded me I found my AB/Y pedal the other day. I honestly forgot I bought 1:eek:

Great builds going on,maybe 1 of these days I will get the nerve to try it.

It's been about 4 months since I assembled the Phase Royal. I messed with it for a couple of weeks, and enjoyed its goodness. Then I set it aside and didn't use it again till about a week ago for some good ol home noodling. What I noticed this time around, this pedal has a significan't boost to the signal when activitated. I'm guestimating 3dB to 5dB. This is a nice surprise that helps the effect cut thru, but you can still adjust it where it's not overly abnoxious. A couple days ago, jamming with my friend (very loudly of coarse), this was made very evident.

@ivan H : Do you get a boost out of yours?

Awesome pedal. Still haven't put a finish on it!

Ha ha… I'm resurrecting my own dead thread...

It's been three years since I built this pedal, and I finally put some kind of finish on it. Etching primer > paint > clear enamel > waterslide decal > more clear enamel:

Nice work!
I have a few I wanted to just repaint / clear coat and bake but havent been motivated to take them apart, desolder the power jack, etc.
My A/B/Y has developed a wonky A/B switch - and is battery only, so this motivates me!!!
