My first SD pedal.

Took me about 30 minutes from delivery guy handing it to me, to rocking it out on the board.

First play through impressions:
This things sounds great! it's very similar to my east river drive which has a certain freq that just rips! (It's always been my favorite.)

The 805 has more versatility than my EHX due to the 3 band eq....the knobs really do something.
It sounds more agressive to me than the JHS Bonsai in every mode.
And now.... It looks like it belongs on my board. That seafoam green is the ugliest thing ever!

My humble 2 cents for ya.

I like 2 or 3 band on an OD. I have the MXR Super Badass Distortion w 3 way and a few with 2 way.
Nice score!! Compact unit.

Now it looks badass. Love the pallet board with wood screws holding everything in place. That's completely hardcore, fantastic!
Congrats on the new OD. Now we need some bad assery sound clips.

Thanks, I built it myself one day on my tailgate.
And I don't like stuff to move!
Anchor it down and be ready to rock hard! That's kind of my approach.
 
It's a phone mic.... It's also through a high gain amp.... Not a whole lot of flavor differences, but there's a decent amount of variance

I really like the mid grind to this pedal. I've bought and sold quite a few off over the years, always favoring the EHX .... But this box just might may change that.
Have to see when my Marshall gets back from the shop.

The Bonsai was set to the Keeley mod FYI.
