New Knife Day

I just finished up a new Bowie Knife last week. This is my best yet!

Blade is .22" thick AEB-L Stainless steel 10" long with a 5" handle made of Buckey Burl. Polished to 800 grit and shaving sharp. Guard is brass and also hand made.

I love making these knives!

I just delivered this skinner to the new owner a couple of weeks ago. I guess I've sold a dozen or more, mostly kitchen knives. This one has a lot of extra work due to the guard and the pommel. Every piece on this was made from scratch. It sold for $250 delivered.

The new owner was thrilled.
