New Holiday Project

Started soldering some more and another mid-course change. Decided to try linear taper pots for the volume. They just arrived today. Also, this neat little pine organizer I ordered yesterday showed up this morning tool. I like getting organized.

Hurry up, Don. My ADHD is killing me.

Got side tracked with some honey dos. The wife had bought some new new LED lanterns for the front yard piers, but they didn't fit on the exiting bases. So the bases I ordered came today and off to the front yard I went. Got 2 of the 3 installed and called it quits.

Soldering complete ! Gotta go install another LED lantern outside and then back in to fire her up and do a setup if all is well in wiring land.

I have no clue as to why some photos rotate during an upload ????

Well, another late edition. Was reading about caps this AM and went down a rabbit hole on treble bleed. So, got out some clip leads and experimented with different value silver mica caps I had on hand. Decided 910 pf across the volume pot was a sweet addition (no resistor(s), just the cap). It really does make a difference in the highs as you back off the volume. Now I'm done soldering !
